Do I need a visa to enter India?

Almost every country in the world is required to get a visa to enter India.

How do I apply for my eVisa for India?

We created an easy online application . This form should take you less than 1 minute per passenger. Once completed our expert customer service team will guide you through the process. You will need to provide us with a more detailed application form, a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport. Our goal is to save you time and expedite the process for you. Note that this type of visa (eVisa) ONLY applies to arriving to India by air.

When will I receive my e-visa?

If your travel date is within the next 120 days, you will receive your visa via email within 72 hours of completing the application. No need to visit an embassy

Do I need to go to the consulate to get my Indian visa?

India's goal is to have 150 countries process their visa via the e Tourist Visa. This will help you avoid the painful visits to the consulate. Please note you are not permitted to purchase the visa at the airport. Please visit our visa requirements page for more info. Also note all international travelers having Pakistani Passport or Pakistani origin must apply for regular visa at Indian consulate.

How long is my e-visa valid for and how much does it cost?

The e-visa is valid for 60 days from the date of arrival in India. The cost of the Indian e-visa is between $0 and $97 USD (Including a Service Fee of $35) depending on your nationality. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Paypal

Is the visa to India refundable?

As long as we have not submitted the application to the government of India, you can receive 100% refund. Just send us an email and we will refund the visa and service fee. If we have submitted the application to the government of India, the visa and service fee is non-refundable. Even if you cancel your trip, we will be unable to refund the fees and you will not be able to transfer the visa to another person.

Do you need a printed copy of the Indian e-visa?

We will forward you an email from the government of India with the details of your e-visa. Included in this email will be your application ID, visa number and visa validity. We suggest travelers print this confirmation and keep a copy with your passport. You can also have a soft copy and provide the information to the airline and immigration officials upon arrival.

Is the India e-visa for a single entry or multiple entries?

The e-visa (depending on the type) is for double or triple entry 60 days from the date of arrival. You can only process two e-visas in one calendar year.

Can I enter India with my e-visa at any point of entry?

No. The e-visa can only be used at the following airports: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh,Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum & Varanasi. And 3 seaports: Cochin, Goa and Mangalor

What happens if I have lost my passport?

If you lost your passport, we suggest processing a new e-visa with the government of India. We can use all the existing information and just change the passport number.

I made a mistake on my personal information when processing the visa on the government website. Can I modify the form?

If you processed the e-visa on the government website, you need to contact them directly at +91-11-24300666. If you processed the e-visa directly on our website, please contact us and we will assist on the matter. We coordinate with immigration agents to amend errors on your name and passport data.

Do you process student visas?

We keep things simple and only process e-visas for business, tourism and medical reasons.

I am going on a cruise and need a visa to enter India, can I apply online?

The e-visa can only be used by passengers coming into through the following seaports: Cochin, Goa and Mangalor

Are you affiliated with the government of India?

We are not related to the government of India. We are a private company that provides a valuable service to process your e-visa to India.

Why do we charge a service fee?

Please note the government of India has a site where you can process the visa without paying our service fee. The reason we process thousands of visas per month is our service saves you time and frustration. Many travelers will tell you that the government website is painful and can take up to 2 hours per passenger. Many applicants are unable to upload the photo and passport scan on the government website because of the strict guidelines.

Do I need to get a visa for my kids?

Yes, everybody must apply for an e-visa regardless of age.

How does the Indian SUPER Rush Processing work?

STEP 1; You apply online and select the Super Rush 18 Hour processing. Remember it is crucial that all your documents (photo & passport page) are uploaded in order for us to process the application within a rushed timeframe.

STEP 2; Within 18 hours you will receive an email which will contain your India eTourist Visa. You can use that eVisa to board your flight.

NOTE- All decisions for granting of the Indian eTourist Visa remain with the Indian Government subject to meeting the relevant criteria. iVisa acts independently in the best interests of our clients. We do not guarantee approvals, so while we will expedite the processing of the visa, the Indian Government will decide on the approval. Do I require a vaccine when traveling abroad?

Please also note that there is sometimes no risk of yellow fever to your international destination BUT note that some government require proof of yellow fever vaccination if you are arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever.
